A Columbus Foodie Bucket List

I love to make lists and I love good food. Thus, I decided to write a most important list that may not be interesting to anyone other than myself. Perhaps you've tried one of these dishes or maybe you have a better suggestion. There are so many places to try and such little adult time to try them all, but I can dream, right?

And if your favorite isn't on here, it may be on the other list (in my brain) of favorite places I've already been and loved or on my review list of places to take the kids. Let me know what you think!

Forno- Nutella stuffed French toast, spiked strawberries (sugar HIGH)

Strongwater- Pretzel board with dipping sauces, Truffalo Mac and Cheese (and the jackfruit come highly recommended...any jackfruit enthusiasts?)

Worthington Inn- Malted Belgian Waffles with marinated berry compote and whipped cream

Rigsby's- Flatiron steak with whipped red skin potatoes and green beans. Favorite meal EVER.

Whitney House- BOOZY cereal. The idea of choosing one makes me want to cry.

Hudson 29- Pineapple upside down donuts, Surf and Turf sushi roll

Double Comfort- Chicken and waffles with 3 Sins Syrup. Annnnnnd beignets. Right?

The Market Italian Village- Woodfired Brie with strawberries and pistachios

Hubbard Grille-  Fried Chicken and jalapeno cornbread muffins (I am about to live this)

Flatiron- Pulled Pork platter because is there anything more satisfying than pulled pork?

Marcella's- Melted Pecorino cheese appetizer, Chicken Piccata/lasagna (let's get both)

Resch's Bakery- Creme horns, danishes, and donuts. And hi, Butterscotch Twists.

Cray Eatery- Pesto chicken sliders, Mac and Cheese balls. Is this real life?

Columbus Brewing Company- The Quartered Wedge salad (doubles dressed!? yes) and ALL the desserts. It evens out, I'm pretty sure.

Basi Italia- Ohio roasted chicken with sweet potato and mushroom marsala sauce

The Guild House- Fresh squeezed juice, oatmeal with cranberries and almond crumble, yogurt parfait, build your own omelet...UPDATE- had it! That juice was amazing!

Skillet- "Wake ups and What Nots": Apple hand pies, Stone fruit crumble pie with cream

The Thurman Cafe- A burger of course. How has this not happened in my time on Earth?

Bodega- Moscow Mule (with Ohio ingredients), Gourmet PB & J, Gourmet grilled cheese

As you can see, I cannot claim to have an adventurous palate, but I love to try new places and new ways to serve my old favorites. Please, let's make this fun and tell me what dishes you love in Cbus!
